We condemn in the strongest terms the military action and the assassination of
the Baloch leader.
It should be considered as heinous crime against the people
by the military establishment bent upon destroying the foundations of the
country.

The ruling group should understand that such an action would only result in
even stronger resolve of the people fighting for their rights. We demand that
the military operation should be immediately stopped and all the Baloch demands
be accepted forthwith.

We believe that the assassination of Akbar Bugti would change the dynamics of
the current struggle and would engulf the whole country as did the events
leading to the 1971 situation.
